Get started by clearing all unwanted items out of your kitchen. Grab and move all mail and bills on your counters, tablecloths, and extra junk. This is essential for disinfecting any and all surfaces.

Dirty Dishes

Next, take care of any dirty dishes that may be lingering in the sink. Wash them or put them in the dishwasher. Also, make sure to put any clean dishes away.

Once the sink is clear, you can fill it with warm, soapy water. Place any items that need to soak in the water for the duration of your cleaning.


Spray every counter in your kitchen with an all-purpose disinfectant of your choice. Make sure it has antibacterial properties that will kill unwanted germs.

Next stop is your cabinets.
